Summary: This is our honest review of our 1 night stay at this hotel. Positives for us:- good location in Albert Docks, modern reception & bar/restaurant area, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Negatives in our experience:- dated rooms, old & grubby bathroom, stained & dirty carpets (we had to change rooms from the 1st room given as it was so bad I couldn’t let my daughter walk on it without shoes-2nd room although still heavily stained in parts was better), dirty mugs (1st room), brown marks on nets (2nd room), old air conditioning units that you couldn’t leave on throughout night because it was so loud! It was a shame about the rooms as the hotel could be so much more than just a nice bar area - it has so much potential but needs updating. Unfortunately until this happens we wont be returning.
